This summer is a great summer to start working on your volleyball skills. Here are some things that you need to work on to start working on skills before the volleyball season.

1. Improve your passing and setting skills by practicing against a wall. You can use the wall to simulate a teammate's pass or set, and then practice your own response.

2. Work on your serving technique by setting up a serving target in your backyard or a nearby park. You can practice different types of serves, such as float serves or jump serves, and focus on accuracy and power.

3. Watch instructional videos and read books or articles about volleyball techniques and strategies. You can find numerous resources online that can help you understand the game better and improve your skills.

4. Train your footwork and agility by doing specific drills and exercises at home. Volleyball requires quick reflexes and good footwork, so practicing agility exercises can greatly benefit your game.
