Here are some methods for using a tanto, CRKT Hisshou size, against a Panga/Machette. There is no blocking here. Remember that deception is the foundation of Samurai strategy. It looks to the opponent that you are going to block blade to blade however release your blade pressing the kashira forward re-directing the opponent's blade as you cut him.
