MultiVersus is a platform fighter that lets you team up with or against your friends using some of the world’s most iconic characters including Batman, Shaggy, Superman, Bugs Bunny & more. Use unique co-op abilities, find your favourite fighter combos and save the Multiverse!
MultiVersus is an upcoming free-to-play crossover fighting game developed by Player First Games and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The game features various characters within the Warner Bros. Discovery catalogue. The title is scheduled for release in 2022 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. The open beta for the game is set to be released in July 2022.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl (大乱闘スマッシュブラザーズX, Great Fray Smash Brothers X), often shortened to "SSBB" or "Brawl" (スマブラX), is the third installment in the Super Smash Bros. series published by Nintendo. The game was designed by Masahiro Sakurai, who also created the two preceding Super Smash Bros. games, and was developed by an ad hoc development team consisting of Sora, Game Arts, and staff from other developers, beginning in October 2005. The game was released on January 31st, 2008 in Japan, March 9th, 2008 in North America, June 26th, 2008 in Australia, and June 27th, 2008 in Europe. Up to four players can engage in local multiplayer battles at any given time with any combination of controllers, while Brawl also supported online play through the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, the first game in the series to do so. While Brawl continues to include the tournament-like "Classic" and "All-Star" single-player modes, Melee’s Adventure Mode has been replaced with The Subspace Emissary; a much more extensive side-scrolling beat-'em-up mode featuring both the playable characters and many enemies specifically created for the game.

Rivals of Aether is an indie platform fighter video game created by Dan Fornace, and released for Microsoft Windows in March 2017, for Xbox One in August 2017, and for Nintendo Switch in September 2020. It received positive reception from critics, who commended its deep gameplay. The game received two spin-off video games: a dating sim, Lovers of Aether, released on April 1, 2019, for PC; and a deck-building game, Creatures of Aether, which was released for iOS and Android on September 28, 2020, and for PC on August 2, 2021. A spin-off comic series, Tales of Aether, was also released in 2021, detailing the backstory of the game. A third spin-off game, Dungeons of Aether, was released in 2023, while a sequel to the original game, Rivals 2, is currently planned for 2024.

DNF Duel is a fighting video game co-developed by Arc System Works, Eighting and Neople, and published by Nexon. It is a spin-off of the Dungeon & Fighter series and it was released for the Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 on 28 June 2022. A Nintendo Switch port was released on 20 April 2023. Gameplay is similar to other fighting games developed by Arc System Works but with more simplified mechanics. Like some previous games, the game features simplified inputs to allow new players to be able to get into the game without being put off by complicated controls. One big difference in this game is the use of an MP bar that is used to activate certain attacks, called "skills" in the game, similar to the main series games and other RPGs. Though the bar disappears after each use of a skill, it slowly regenerates over time, unlike the use of special meters found in other fighting games.

Dead or Alive 6 (Japanese: デッドオアアライブ6, Hepburn: Deddo Oa Araibu Shikusu, abbreviated as DOA6) is a 2019 fighting game developed by Team Ninja and published by Koei Tecmo. It is the sixth main entry in the Dead or Alive fighting series. The game was released for PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One on March 1, 2019, and was also released in the Arcades in Japan on July 18, 2019. Running on a new engine, the game offers new features and introduces new mechanics.
Dead or Alive 6 was praised for its polished gameplay, battle arenas, and its beginner-friendly tutorials, but was criticized for its multiplayer functions as well as the absence of online lobbies at launch. A free-to-play version of the game titled Dead or Alive 6: Core Fighters was released on March 15, 2019.
