The Surface Web, also known as the visible web or clearnet, is the part of the internet that most people are familiar with. It consists of websites that can be accessed through search engines like Google, Bing, and Yahoo. These sites are indexed and searchable, and anyone can access them with a regular web browser.

The Deep Web is the part of the internet that is not indexed by search engines. It includes websites that require special software or authorization to access, such as online banking, private databases, and corporate intranets. The Deep Web is estimated to be many times larger than the Surface Web, but it is not inherently illegal or dangerous.

The Dark Web, on the other hand, is a small portion of the Deep Web that is intentionally hidden and can only be accessed using specific software, configurations, or permissions. It is often associated with illegal activities, such as drug trafficking, weapons sales, and human trafficking. The anonymity provided by the Dark Web makes it a haven for criminals and malicious actors.

In summary, the Surface Web is the easily accessible part of the internet, the Deep Web is the larger portion that is not indexed by search engines, and the Dark Web is a small and intentionally hidden subset of the Deep Web that is often associated with illegal activities.
