AT LONG LAST 2020 IS FINALLY OVER!!!

Man, this was such a tragic and difficult year. Although even with a vaccine now being distributed, it’s still going to be a long time before things get back to normal. And I still expect 2021 to be rough for the first few months, at least. Many people have lost loved ones because of COVID-19, my prayers are with them especially. So remember to still keep your distance, wash your hands, wear masks, and try not to go out so much.

On to the video, I thought this was a great song for Hiccup because he’s such an adventurer, wanting to see the world. But eventually he realizes his place is with his tribe. I had originally thought of making the second verse for Astrid, because it works so perfect for that too, but I was drawn back in with Toothless, since it kind of works for him too. Being excited about finding new places and adventures, but also enjoys staying put with those around him.

I used a cover for this song rather than the original, because I am such a fan of Cristina Vee. She’s best known for her role as Marinette Dupain-Cheng from Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Chat Noir, but she does a lot of other voice acting too. What really amazes me about her song is how she pronounces the Icelandic almost flawlessly as the original! She has her own channel here on YouTube which she does a ton of covers for songs from movies, TV shows, and even plays. I highly recommend you check it out!

I had this video sitting around months, but I was seriously lacking motivation. I mean, I have a ton of project ideas, but with work and lockdowns, I was just drained. Even today, I had to finish up. Just going on and off for hours. If it wasn’t for theNightFuryfan95’s Christmas video inspiring me, it might not have gotten done in time.
