Stewy and Emery are in Rome for two nights for our travel vlog. Then we embarked on a 9 day NCL Norwegian Cruise Line trip on the beautiful new PRIMA. We are joined by two people that are very dear to us – Emery’s sister Robin and her husband Mark. Both Emery and Mark have never been to Rome and are excited to see the iconic wonders of the city. We stayed at the Romanico Palace Hotel and enjoyed its quirky old-world charm.

Stewy booked an all-day small-group Rome walking tour and we were so happy with our wonderful and knowledgeable guide, Gaby. Lunch was at the Trevi Fountain and of course we had pizza and beer, delicious. The afternoon was cool and cloudy, but welcome as we walked all the way to the Colosseum. Along the way we toured the ruins of the Forum and imagined how grand it must have been all those years ago. We see the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel, Saint Peter’s Basilica, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Roman Forum and the Colosseum. La Pieta. UNESCO World Heritage Site.
