Yathusha founded and runs Olai, an online store https://www.olai.shop/
Yathusha commpleted the Yarl IT Hub's UKi coding school in 2019. Together with her brother and a friend Yathusha built an impressive online marketplace. Here she offers high quality palmyrah handicraft products made by women across the Northern Province.

Yathusha will talk about the challenges and successes for a young person leaving school, getting training, and starting an award winning business.

2) S.Thavaseelan, proprietor of Mullai Industrial Group

Seelan was educated in Sri Lanka, graduated and followed a career as a maths teacher. From 1993 he moved to London where he brought up his family. In 2016 Seelan came back to Mullaitivu to his ancestral land. Here he setup a milk processing business, producing drinking yohurt, yoghurt, curd, paneer, milk toffee. He currently purchases milk from farmers. His factory has capacity to process 5,000 litres of milk per day, but due to supply constraints he processes on average 1,500 litres per day. To ensure reliable supply, Seelan plans to build his own herd of cows.

Seelan will talk about his experiences returning to setup this business. And the challenges he faces as he tries to expand.
