DESCRIPTION
OL' School Garage knew they had to turn this Fastback into something special when they first laid their eyes on it. The previous owner had collected parts here and there, but had lost interest very early on. Starting with a clean and solid body goes a long way when restoring to a high standard of finish and fitment. OL' School Garage will disassemble, repair and then put the car back together again before the car goes anywhere near their paint shop to ensure quality fitment.

This Fastback has hit the jackpot and will be restored on a rotisserie with no expense spared budget. OL' School Garage are thinking black exterior with red pony interior and a menacing low stance. This build will feature lots of performance bits and pieces along the way.

The driveline is a tough 351 Windsor stroked out to 408ci, great for low end torque. It has been balanced and blue printed and will be run in by their in-house engine guru Craig. The gearbox is a C4 and the differential is the sturdy 9" inch.

The Fastback will stop on a dime thanks to Wilwood disc-brake setup at all four corners with upgraded booster and master cylinder.

The rust was minimal with spots found in the doors and previous a panel dent-repair was found in the rear quarter panel. A new reproduction quarter panel has been sourced and Roland will have the repairs knocked over in no time.

You will see that it was a bit of a squeeze to get the motor in the engine bay. Not much room was left for header pipes. Not only is the entire system functional, it flows great and sounds menacing. It has been tig-welded, ceramic coated and mandrel bends have been used to extract as much power as OL' School Garage can out of the motor.
