This Stops Driveway Ice Better Than Rock Salt

If you want to stop driveway ice from accumulating then you have to try this strange technique of using rock salt, molasses, and your lawn sprayer.

Any lawn sprayer will work but I recommend using the cheapest unit you can find at your local Walmart, Home Depot, or big box store.

If shopping on Amazon I'd go with this cheapo 2-gallon pump sprayer from Flo-Master. If the salt ends up ruining the unit after a season then it's not that big of a loss.

No matter what I think this will save me money on salt over a full season so I think I'll be doing this more often in coming years.
