Back in Spring 2018 we were asked to remove a tall pine trine that had been planted in the wrong place, grown really tall and started to block out the light in our customers and neighbours gardens and homes. Before we start any tree work particularly in the springtime we always have a good look around the tree for nesting birds as at DJI we are very found of our British garden birds. We started to cut off the branches of this tree using our cherry picker to help us and before we got to the top we discovered a blackbirds nest with eggs in it.
We decided to abandon the job until the autumn to give the blackbird and its future chicks plenty of time to fledge the nest.
In September we returned to this property in Hucknall with our spider cherry picker and finished our tree removal work.
