Sixty years ago in 1964, the Green Giant Company offered a promotional HO Scale "Valley Express" train set made by the Louis Marx & Co. It was yours for $4.25 plus two labels on from Green Giant cans.

It was a battery powered set, one of several that Marx offered in this time frame instead of the clockwork sets offered by other manufacturers. In this video we take a look at one of these sets, as well as run the train itself on my HO Scale layout.
