WestJet ordered 10 787-9 Dreamliners from Boeing back in 2017, with options for 10 more. The first three of these were delivered earlier this year, but have all been pressed into revenue service, flying from Calgary to London-Gatwick, Paris, and Dublin. The next batch of deliveries will take place next year.

The current schedule is arranged such that there aren't more than two transatlantic flights a day, with the exception of Sunday evenings, when all three flights depart Calgary for their respective destinations, within a one-hour window.

My viewers from larger hub airports will scoff at the triviality of such a statement, but for WestJet and Calgary, it's a pretty big deal!
