Gixxer SF 250 is a sports bike available at a starting price of Rs. 2,09,335 in India. It is available in 2 variants and 3 colours with top variant price starting from Rs. 2,10,214. The Gixxer SF 250 is powered by 249cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 26.13 bhp and a torque of 22.2 Nm. With both front and rear disc brakes, Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 comes up with anti-locking braking system. This Gixxer SF 250 bike weighs 161 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 12 liters.

The Gixxer SF 250 is an all-new fully-faired offering from Suzuki Motorcycle India. Positioned above the Gixxer SF 155, both motorcycles share a similar design language. With the Gixxer SF 250, Suzuki has now breached into the premium quarter-litre motorcycle segment in India.

In terms of styling, the Gixxer SF 250 follows a sleek design form with well-contoured lines that look appealing. In complement to this look, the motorcycle comes with a split-seat design, clip-on handlebars and slightly rear-set footpegs. Besides that, it features a full LED headlamp unit, LED tail lamp, fully-digital instrument console, dual-barrel exhaust and split-type grab rails at the rear.

The Gixxer SF 250 packs an all-new 249cc 4-valve SOHC single-cylinder oil-cooled unit. Power output stands at 26.1bhp and 22.6Nm. Transmission duties are handled by a six-speed gearbox. The company claims, the motorcycle is capable of returning a fuel efficiency of 38.5kmpl.

The quarter-litre bike gets telescopic forks up front and a swingarm-mounted monoshock at the rear. It rides on 17-inch five-spoke alloy wheels shod with 11070 section tyre up front and a 15060 section tyre at the back. The motorcycle employs disc brakes at both ends and is equipped with dual-channel ABS.

Suzuki is offering the Gixxer SF 250 with the choice of three colour shades - Metallic Matte Platinum Silver, Metallic Matte Black and the special MotoGP edition. One can also opt for the Triton Blue/Silver shade which celebrates Suzuki’s 100th anniversary. In its segment, the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 competes against the KTM RC 200.
