The Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel and St. Peters Square

On our 2nd day in Rome, the 1st official itinerary day on our tour, we visited the Vatican Museum in Vatican City!

The crowds in this area are absolutely incredible, the Vatican museum is visited by over 6 million people every year! It is highly advised that tickets to the museum are purchased in advance otherwise you will be waiting in a very long line! If you google Vatican Museum tickets, many websites will come up before the official Vatican site.- so just be aware you may be purchase tickets for some sort of guided tour, you can tour the Vatican on your own without a guide.
