Happy Fourth of July! The timing is brutally patriotic, for the Autobots and their war crime escapades are among the most patriotic and American things to ever grace the cinematic screen. Their theme is built upon a simple seven note horn motif, accompanied by thumping, militaristic percussion and grand choir. The theme of the Autobots is like most of the heroic themes of the Transformers movies, very fist-pumping and courageous with the cinematic, beautiful ethereal feeling that makes the music so special. There's nothing really emotionally complex about it but it doesn't need to be. It's strength is in its power and might, as well as it's bravado and resonance.
