I am a current Masters student at the University of Westminster, and since writing this dissertation, I have realised how much my dyslexia has hindered my reading and writing skills. Ever since I was young, I have had mild dyslexia, leading to difficulty reading, writing and spelling. I often read words completely wrong; I struggle to remember the sentence I just read and mispronounce words horribly wrong. I have always avoided reading because of how hard I found it. However, that won’t stop me from writing my 10,000 word final year architecture dissertation.
