The Shanghai Tourism Festival was founded in 1990. The event starts on a Saturday in September every year and lasts for more than 20 days, covering nearly 40 categories such as sightseeing, leisure, entertainment, culture and sports, exhibitions, food, and shopping. The project attracts more than 8 million tourists every year.

The 35th Shanghai Tourism Festival in 2024 kicked off in Huangpu District. 25 performance teams and 25 gorgeous floats appeared on Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street to perform parades, attracting countless citizens and tourists to stop and watch.
The Shanghai Tourism Festival highlights Shanghai's "urban, comprehensive, and international" characteristics and creates a new benchmark for urban celebrations. The 2024 Shanghai Tourism Festival will continue to promote the gathering of traffic, popularity and consumption with its new attitude, helping Shanghai to become the first stop for China's inbound tourism and comprehensively build a world-famous international tourism city!

上海旅游节创办于1990年，是中国最盛大的城市旅游节。活动从每年九月的一个周六开始，历时二十余天，涵盖了观光、休闲、娱乐、文体、会展、美食、购物等几个大类近四十多个项目，每年吸引游客超800万人次。

2024年第35届上海旅游节在黄浦区拉开序幕。25支表演队伍和25辆绚丽花车集中亮相南京路步行街开展巡游表演，吸引了无数市民游客驻足围观。
