Joshua calls the entire camp of the Children of Israel together at Shechem, He goes over with them How God brought their Fore Fathers from the other side of the flood, Terah, Moses, Hachor who all worshipped idol gods, and God took Abraham from the other side of the flood and led him though to Canaan.

Joshua spoke of how God brought Israel out of bondage in Egypt all the way to this promised land, he tells them to choose ye this day if you will serve God or the false gods of the land.
