Took this two day hike on September 14th and 15th 2023, starting and ending at McGee Creek trailhead. Ascended McGee Pass, and visited several lakes around Silver Divide, which I crossed twice, via Rohn Pass in the first day, and Hopkins Pass in the second. Slept overnight near Bighorn Lake, and climbed Mount Izaak Walton in the morning. The approximate route of the hike is presented here: https://www.alltrails.com/explore/map...

Snow was present on some passes, but generally did not present an issue and was easily passable. The only place I really needed crampons was on the ascent to Rohn Pass, which presented a 45º icy slope on the final approach.

This was a very satisfying hike, with great variation, going through several beautiful valleys and visiting picturesque lakes. The climb to Izaak Walton is a nice scramble and totally worthwhile.
