It was announced at the beginning of 2014 that throughout the year, the Montreal Metro's Yellow Line would be completely shut down over the weekends for heavy maintenance on the aging concrete tunnels. Over 48 years, water damage in this tunnel under the Saint-Lawrence River had become quite the problem. During these weekend closures, high frequency bus service from Berri-UQAM to Longueuil was implemented by the STM, through shuttle route 804. Equally, there were shuttles that served the link between Berri/Longueuil and Jean-Drapeau.

On this November Saturday, we take a ride from near-Papineau metro to Longueuil on board 2005 Nova LFS #25-214, via the Jacques-Cartier Bridge. It may be the last time in a while that we'll see STM bus service in Longueuil. Enjoy the video!
