Visit Madeira: Funchal Toboggan Ride!

HOW TO GET THERE:
Take the the Monte cable car (next to Funchal Port) to the mountain town of Monte (16€ - round trip, 11€ - one way, per person). Opens at 10am, closes at 17.45.
The start of the toboggan ride can be found on the road behind the Monte Palace Tropical Gardens (5min walk from the cable car exit)

PRICE:
The price is calculated per toboggan and the number of people
1 person - 25€
2 people - 30€
3 people - 45€ (maximum amount of people)

TIMETABLE:
Monday to Saturday - 9am - 6pm
Sunday - 9am - 1pm

LENGTH OF RIDE:
2 km (approx)

TIME OF RIDE:
10mins (including a section where they pull you along for about 50m)
IMPORTANT - the ride does not end back in Funhal centre, you will have to take a taxi, or the cable car back, or if you feel up to it, walk (like we did).
