It’s always so rewarding to finish one of these massive drawings because they take so long! As summer approaches I’m hoping to pick up the pace with these full body colossals as my schedule gets less busy. For Amber Island (recently revealed to be named Dulcettéa), I wanted it to sit on a throne the same way my Gold Colossal does so they look like a king and queen. However, this setting is a lot more natural and jungle-like to fit with the Dawn of Fire inspired prehistoric atmosphere of the Island. Colouring all the different gemstones and jewellery was especially fun! I hope you all like it! 🧡🔥
