Bioko Island is mountainous with steep volcanic shores. It arose at the confluence of several volcanic cones up to 3 thousand meters high. This is one of the wettest places in Africa. The island of Bioko receives more than 10 meters of rainfall a year, which makes its nature incredibly rich and varied. There are jungles and waterfalls, high rocky cliffs and a huge lake in the crater of the volcano.
