Former Goodison stars Leon Osman and Kevin Sheedy insist Blues will quickly fall in love with Everton Stadium.

The legendary duo recently paid a visit to the Club’s future home, where they took in the view from pitch level, before experiencing the newly-installed rail seating in the south stand.

Rail seating encompasses each seat being accompanied by a robust metal frame that forms a waist-high rail for spectators in the row behind. These frames, installed on a permanent basis with the same spacing as standard seats, interlock to form a continuous high-strength rail along the full length of each row.

And both Sheedy and Osman were wowed by the views on offer as they experienced the 13,000-capacity stand, which features a super riser half-way up to provide a natural ‘barrier’ between the safe standing of the lower tier and seated supporters in the upper, while giving the impression of one giant wave of Evertonians.
