I came back home to Florida for a visit and while I was here I got to try out the new Specialized Epic 8 bike. I went to Mega Cycle to get this bike, I highly suggest this shop if you are in south Florida and need something bike related. I was pretty excited on trying this bike out. I am usually riding a bike with a lot more travel but It was nice to try this one out. I think It is perfect for trails like these. It was good on the drops, great on the jumps and climbed really well. I felt faster on this bike as well. I think this had a lot to do with the weight, it's a much lighter bike. All in all I had fun, this bike rips!!! And if you're in search of a 120 travel xc bike this might be the perfect option.
