Carol of The Bells originates with Ukrainian Mykola Leontovich's 1916 composition Shchedryk ("bountiful evening"). Later adapted by Peter Wilhousky into the form made famous around the world, this Christmas carol has been a favourite of choirs and orchestras worldwide. It was suggested to me as a possible virtual choir, but I decided that such a challenging piece might be better suited for a solo work. I hope you enjoy my brand new a cappella arrangement!

As a first for this channel, this video was shot on location! Thanks to Rev. Brad Peters of Murray Street Baptist Church in Peterborough, Ontario for letting me borrow the pews for a couple of hours. The lighting, framing, recording and editing all presented new challenges for me - I hope the shift from my regular studio setup is a refreshing change!
