In this video I will show you how to make a delicious lemon drizzle cake.

Voted as one of the nations most favourite cakes, you're sure to love this delicious lemon drizzle cake. The sponge is sweet, zingy and glazed with a scrumptious crunchy lemon drizzle icing. Pure perfection!!!

This is a super easy recipe that you and your kids will love to make, and the whole family will love to eat.

Ingredients you'll need for the sponge-
- 225g Self Raising Flour
- 225g Caster suger
- 225g Butter
- 4 eggs
- peel of 2 un-waxed lemons
- 1 tsp lemon extract

Ingredients for the drizzle-
- 100g caster sugar
- juice of 2 lemons (use the juice from the 2 lemons you took the peel from for the sponge)

Ingredients for the icing-
- 100g icing sugar
- Juice of 1 lemon

Total amount of fresh lemons needed is 3.
