This is Episode 1, from the tour ‘Crossing The Alps’ through France, Switzerland & Italy.

The tour was organised by Alison Thomas & Nick James, long standing members and experienced tour organisers, within the membership of the www.pemc.co.uk

In total, there were 25 fellow motorcycle members of the UK PEMC motorcycling club on this trip. The club has over 300 members, mostly based in the UK, who enjoy a wide variety of well-priced events and trips based around the UK & Europe.

THE COSTS - Bear in mind that the club is non-profit, so, there were no included costs for a ‘Guide’ rider or back-up vehicle.
The costs were per person for 13 nights Dinner, B&B.
Single Room £1,700
Sharing Room £1,300 (Excluding Eurotunnel cost, lunches, fuel etc).

Episode 1 covers the following -

Day 1 ~ This briefly covers my motorway route from the Eurotunnel to our first night together at a hotel, nestled between two rivers, in the French town of La Chaussee-sur-Marne.

Day 2 ~ Today covers my Southward ride with David Sandilands & Stefan Yorke, across countryside to an 18th Century mansion hotel within parkland, located in the town of Chille, France.

Day 3 ~ Today, we head towards our two-night stop at a family-run hotel, built in 1806, stunningly located on the Southern shore of Lake Geneva and close to the start of the well-known ‘Route des Grande Alpes’.

Day 4 ~ A rest day for some, but David Sandilands and myself head out on a loop ride to explore part of the ‘Route des Grandes Alpes’ and the ‘Col de la Columbiere’.

It looks great on a Smart TV, as it has been filmed in HD.
