Ben Troy is ‘springing’ onto the Country Music Scene this month with the first release from his debut album “Gravity”, which is due for release on March 24th.

His debut single, “I’m on Fire”, is one of 13 tracks off the album, released on the newly formed Ryan Records label which was set up by Derek Ryan.

Ben has joined Derek throughout the UK and Ireland as a regular guest on his concert tours for the past year, and has an ever-growing fan base. As well Ben has been a regular part of the international tours run by the Sky ‘Keep it Country’ channel supremo Phil Mack. The highlight of which was performing for the wife of the Late George Jones in Nashville and singing the ‘Possum’s’ biggest song; ‘He Stopped Loving Her Today’ at the Grand Ole Opry.

The 18-year old from Carrickmacross in Monaghan man has grown up with a love for music, from the eager age of just 3 years old, with an ear for music and a knack for performing. At 11 years old he took to the stage for his first “real” performance.

Ben began his career as one half of a duo with his Father, and with the support and encouragement from his parents and friends, his determination and ambition was destined to grow.

With an endless list of musical talents from singer, to guitar, banjo, tin whistle and even mandolin player, combined with his charm and charisma, it wasn’t long before Ben found himself working with some of the most well known names in Irish Country.

The two times ‘All Ireland Traditional Music Championship’ medalist is taking to the road again this year with Derek Ryan and his band on tour dates throughout the UK & Ireland, where you can hear his brand new single “I’m on Fire” and other tracks off his forthcoming album “Gravity”, including 4 songs penned by ICMA ‘Songwriter of the Year’ Derek Ryan.

2017 is set to be a big year for Ben Troy, with 15 country music awards already under his belt, and a drive to become one of the top country stars in Ireland, this is one musical journey you want to be a part of.
