I've always heard great things about turning osage orange from friends but never got the chance to try it myself as it's not typically the type of wood you can walk into a hardwood store to acquire. I recently visited my friend Ted Alexander in Oklahoma while going to the Skiatook Adventure and was lucky enough to bring quite a bit of osage orange back home to play with.
