They don't call it the Shasta Route for nothing!

Here is a Union Pacific Intermodal train as it skirts right along the base of the legendary Mt. Shasta in Northern California!

This video also features the well known Hotlum trestle in the beginning. This train is heading South and is only a number of miles from getting to Black Butte.
