Trains Pass Over 308 Feet Tall Railroad Bridge & Caboose, Locomotives Of RJ Corman Railroad Headquarters. These Trains Are In High Bridge, Kentucky On The Norfolk Southern Main Line. Cincinnati owns this line from Cincinnati to Chattanooga, Tennessee and leases to NS. This is the highest railroad bridge over a navigable stream in the USA. This bridge was built in 1911 as a replacement. See the pictures in the video of the plaque for more. We see a closeup of the steel construction and trains going in both directions. Check out the awesome hangover where I filmed the first train. It stands high above the Kentucky River with breathe taking views. It is difficult to film trains here due to the size of the bridge and the trees. Also, there are no nearby signals for the trains to call out so the only warning that you get on the scanner is the End Of Train device on 452.9375 so you definitely need to program that in. The road channel is 160.950. High Bridge Park also has a nice caboose in Norfolk Southern paint although it was built in 1980 as a Chessie System caboose.
After visiting the park I went to the RJ Corman headquarters that are less than 10 miles away at Nicholasville, Kentucky. The NS Rat Hole Line actually goes through the Corman property. RJ Corman has a caboose and 4 locomotives on display next to the highway. They sit on a track that is close to a half mile long and has two sidings. Check out the F unit locomotive and passenger car on display at their headquarters. We see the inside of the passenger car which has been converted into a meeting room. Look how big the buildings are on this huge and well maintained campus.

Today, the R. J. Corman Railroad Group, LLC serves all seven North American major railroads, many regional and short line railroads and dozens of industries having rail. Services include owning and operating 18 short lines, providing emergency rail services associated with derailments and natural disasters, switching, track construction, track material distribution, signal design/construction, and operating a dinner train.
On June 29th, 2022 the American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association (ASLRRA) announced that 13 R. J. Corman short lines were winners of Jake Awards for their above-industry average safety performance during 2021.
The Jake Awards is an annual recognition presented by the ASLRRA, a group that represents the entrepreneurial owners and operators of short line and regional railroads throughout North America. Filmed July 14, 2022.
