The Correctional Service of Papua New Guinea has successfully graduated 135 commissioned officers of the Papua New Guinea Correctional Service.
The passing out parade was held last week Friday 11th June 2021 and was attended by Minister for PNG Correctional Services, Member for Tambul Nebilyer Hon. Win Bakri, CS Commisioner Stephen Pokanis esq, OBE, DCS, the Parade Host Training Commandant Chief Superintendent Haraha Kiddy Keko DCS, distinguished guests and relatives of the graduates.
Speaking during the Passing out Parade was the PNG Correctional Service Commissioner Mr Stephen Pokanis esq, OBE, DCS, who highlighted some challenges they have faced in going through the trainings despite of Covid 19 and other challenges they have encountered so far, including the MASS BREAKOUTS this year, urging the newly graduated commissioned officers not to compromise but to maintain their code of conduct by being competent and faithful towards their duties.
