This time, we took a walk from Yokohama West Exit via Pal Nerd Street to Yokohama Vivre, and from Yokohama West Exit through Yokohama Station to Minato Mirai.
Yokohama Station is a terminal station with the largest number of railroad operators serving one station in Japan, with an average of about 2.3 million passengers per day (in fiscal 2019) and about 841 million passengers per year, ranking fifth in the world!
The area surrounding Yokohama Station has been undergoing development in recent years, with the opening last fall of the shopping center “CeeU Yokohama” on a site adjacent to the Yokohama Vivre shopping center, and the opening of the new complex facility “THE YOKOHAMA FRONT” in June of this year.
This time, we took a walk from Yokohama Station to Minato Mirai. Please take a look at the daily scenery of the changing Yokohama Station area.
