Here is our recipe for a homemade spray and how to use it:

• teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda
• teaspoon of basic vegetable oil
• teaspoon of soap (Uncle Tom's natural soft soap used in the video)

Stir thoroughly and then pour into a spray bottle. This is an old favourite that is used again and again. Give it a good shake and you are good to go.

Ideally you would want to use this as a preventative spray, but you can also use it on plants that are already showing signs of mildew. Make sure to spray underneath the leaves as well as on top.
