My business uses these type of sanders extensively, we normally don't do tool reviews, especially for advertising or sponsorship dollars. I think good reviews come from people who actually use them full-time and understand the big perspective of what they do well and don't do well. Unlike most on YouTube woodworkers doing tool reviews, we actually used both of these sanders EVERYDAY for the last 3 weeks about 5-6 hours/day before even thinking about reviewing them. I hope you get some value from this video.

A personal note to YOU! My authentic heart felt love goes out to everyone viewing & subscribing. These are strange times in today's world & I hope we all can all come together to better the human race one day at a time!! Stay positive and show your love to others!!!

In this tool review, we will answers the following:

1) Is the Festool worth paying $620 vs $287 compared to the Bosch?
2) Does the Bosch with a 25% larger motor result in more aggressive removal of material?
3) Which sander has superior dust collection?
4) Which sander is easier to use and is balanced the best?
5) Which sander produces the highest quality surface?
6) What are the downsides to these type of sanders?

These are two of the leading rapid removal sanders specifically engineered for aggressive material removal. These sanders can also actually be used a buffers due to their high RPM and OPMs. The Festool RO 150 can be found for about $620 (link below) while the Bosch GET 75-6 can be found for about $300 (link below). Both are 6" sanders with fairly equivalent specs. The Bosch is a bit heavier while also boasting a 25% larger motor. At the end of the video, I will share my experiences, likes and dislikes. Prior to purchase of the Festool (used for about 100 hours), we had been using the Bosch GET 75-6 on a daily basis for about 8 months (over 1000 hours).

As an biomedical engineer and ex-product development director for medical device R&D programs, I did my best to take a scientific test method approach. During the testing, I certainly identified test method improvements but overall for these 1st run, I believe it is one of the better reviews on YouTube. Let me know what you think and please consider subscribing.
