After the events of Last Evolution Kizuna, as a giant Digi-egg shows up in the Tokyo skyline, the DigiDestined: Davis, Yolei, Cody, T.K., Kari, and Ken; meet a boy named Lui Owada, who possesses a depowered Digivice and not only claims to be the first DigiDestined but that his partner Digimon named Ukkomon wants every person in the world to have their own Digimon partner.
