In this video I show you how I upgraded my laptop's WIFI card. I knew this was a laptop issue and not an internet issue because this Lenovo laptop is new to me and my other laptops didn't have any issues with my home internet setup.

If you don't know how to open your laptop to access the internals, do a youtube search for your laptop model number and the words "disassembly" or "teardown" or "how to open" and search for videos that show you how to open it.

The Intel WIFI chips that are universally compatible include:
Intel AX200 - Supports WIFI 6 (Dual Band)
Intel AX210 - Supports WIFI 6E (Tri Band)

The connector interface of the Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 and AX210 cards is PCIe Key A+E , these are universal cards as there is no need for a specific processor. Compatibility of the card to the computer depends on the computer manufacturer's design since most likely the limitation could be on the motherboard's side.

A PCIe Key A+E WiFi Card will fit in a (Intel) CNVio2 system with Key E. But a CNVio2 WiFi Key E card will not fit into a PCIe+ A+E system.

Older laptops from Dell and HP sometimes had a “whitelist” which will limit what you can install on your laptop. You may want to check if your specific laptop model has a “whitelist”. My laptop did not. Do a search for: [your laptop model number] + "wifi card upgrade"
