I was given this on a disc "as is". There's no mention of who created it as you can see, therefore I thought it would be good to share it on here. I edited it with the beginning title and ending.
I did spend a lot of time down Hessle Road in my youth (1970's & early 80's) as my mate Bernard lived down South Boulevard. The little kids found entertainment in derelict buildings, railway lines, docks, factory roofs, yet no-one was killed or seriously injured. Yet nowadays, with everything being Health and Saftey, I expect to see kids wearing hi-viz jackets, crash helmets, saftey boots and glasses, just to go on a swing at the park..........I'm buying shares in cotton wool......it's the future !!

There are some streets in the slideshow I've never heard of, perhaps after the war, they were simply "levelled".
All in all, the photos are a fascinating insight of what life was like in the old days.
