A video captures the moment when a HONDA CBR650R crashed while attempting to turn around at the halfway point after riding on the road up to Mt. Fuji. Needless to say, this was not filmed intentionally, but by accident.
The cause of the fall was that I braked suddenly while the vehicle was banking while making a right turn, resulting in a deep banking angle, and that I stopped at a right angle to the slope and tried to land my foot on the valley side, resulting in a worse footing than on a flat road.
The fall caused minor abrasions to the mirrors, brake lever, gas pedal grip, and crankcase cover, as well as damage to the bank sensor. Because the engine was equipped with sliders, this still minimized the abrasions.

HONDA CBR650Rで富士山に登る道路を走行した後、中間地点で折り返そうとしたときに転倒してしまった瞬間を収めた動画です。言うまでもなく、意図して撮影されたものではなく、偶然に撮影されたものです。
転倒の原因は、右折中に車体がバンクしている状態で急ブレーキをかけたためバンクの角度が深かったこと、及び、坂道に対して直角に停止し谷側に足を着こうとしたため、平地よりも足つきが悪かったことが挙げられます。
この転倒によって、ミラー、ブレーキレバー、アクセルグリップ、クランクケースカバーに軽微な擦り傷が生じたほか、バンクセンサーが損傷しました。エンジンにスライダーを装着していたため、これでも擦り傷は最小限に抑えられたと言えます。
