This week on SuburbanSill I am exploring Monstera deliciosa propagation. It was fun and simple with a little surprise along the way.

Monstera propagates fairly easily. Start by taking a cutting below a node on a stem. I have heard that newer stems propagate easier, but in my case, I went with one that needed to be cut.
Place your cutting into moist soil with bright indirect light and hope for the best. Choosing a cutting with aerial roots might help your cutting grab hold a little quicker. For this cutting, I also used some rooting and blooming fertilizer to help speed up the process.
