Patty grew up in San Jose, Costa Rica, in a creative-infused environment, relocating the the United States in 1987 with her family. She received her Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design and Photography from the University of Central Florida in 1993. After 12 years working and honing her skills as a graphic artist in the corporate market, Patty left that world to stay home with her children and pursue her own creative endeavors, founding a pattern and textiles company, in addition to writing several books. She currently lives in Bloomington, IL with her husband and two daughters, working as a freelance graphic designer and an independent sales broker for a large printing company. #womensupportingwomen #quinceañera #costarica
