With the advent of the dollar came the risks which were associated with it and these risks have been evident with the impact of the 2008 financial crisis. As a result the BRICS coalition has since then been collaborating and strategizing to create a more robust and dollar free trading and financial systems. These strategies by the BRICS nations have since then not only been a direct impedance to the dollar's hegemony but rather a blow to the effects and prowess of the US sanctions and monetary dominance.
