Alongside some other players in the market, Huawei also releases new headphones at very regular intervals, which means that further developments in the market as a whole also reach end customers very quickly. For the FreeBuds, this is already the 6th generation, which speaks for a certain amount of experience.
ANC is now installed in version 3, although the versioning is of course manufacturer-specific. They are also IP54-certified and have a battery life of up to 35 hours or up to 8 hours. It remains to be seen whether the manufacturer is really on the right track here. The audio formats have been expanded compared to the predecessor (LDAC, L2HC2.0, AAC, SBC) and the drivers now have a diameter of 11 mm. Since the DNN algorithm for better telephony and 3 microphones have also been installed, the 6i is at least partly based on the significantly more expensive Pro 3.
