• Elixir of Vigilance is used in the beginning to guarantee first turn.
• Elixir of Bloodlust is used later in combat to gain an additional Action on kill.
• Disguise Astarion before initiating combat so he doesn't get kidnapped. Else you can skip this step when playing as someone else.
• Assassin restores Action and bonus action at the start of combat so they can do free first strike.
• Assassin will always score Critical hits against Surprised targets.
• Aura of Murder is from Bhaalist Armour, which make nearby enemies vulnerable to Piercing damage.
• Steeped in Bliss is from carrying Resonance Stone in your inventory, which make you & nearby enemies vulnerable to Psychic damage.
(However, Undeads & Construct are unaffected by this aura.)
• Drakethroat Glaive wasn't used on Bard for this encounter, but you could, for more damage.


• Dolar Amarus adds +7 flat dmg on Critical Hit, dual-wielding will add +14 dmg. One is dropped by Dolor, the other is sold by Echo of Abazigal in the Murder Tribunal.
• Utilizing the Pierce Vulnerability from Bhaalist Armour, that +14 becomes +28 bonus Piercing damage.
• (unintentional) Dolar Amarus damage also apply to Craterflesh Gloves, so that's another +14 Force damage.
• As an Assassin, you have guaranteed Critical Hits against Surprised targets, in turn the Dolar Amarus pair ends up giving 28 + 14 = (42) as additional damage on every attacks.
