June 2024 saw our first ever attendance at the Adventure Bike Rider ABR festival at Ragley Hall in Warwickshire. One of the big features of this festival is the 30km off-road Bridgestone Trail, which you can ride your own bike on as many times as you like, as long as you have a trail pass ticket.

I have never ridden my Triumph Tiger 1200 GT Explorer off road before, and have minimal off road experience, limited to a 2 day course in Wales with the Triumph Adventure Experience earlier this year, but that was using their bikes. Muscling a 250kg bike around an off road course was a bit of a daunting prospect, but I managed ok and thoroughly enjoyed it. This video shows the trail and how I got on.
