Paul Beare and I, David McCright, wrote and recorded this song to honor our friend, Doug Inkster. Around December, 2023, Doug, was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. Over the last few months, he spoke repeatedly about how he really wanted his daughters and son to get to know Jesus like he knew him and to find the peace he had found. Doug is in hospice care now. The end of his time in this world is not far off. "Let Them Get to Know" represent's Doug's prayer that somehow, before or after he passes, his children will hear the Lord and answer His call.
