From Fremont, California, I followed Leslie and Paula in our trucks to the start of a Bay Area Recumbent Cycling ride in Los Gatos (meow). I have no idea why this town is called 'the cats' in Spanish but I have a little fun with the name in this video. We had 13 riders to start but one person dropped out with a mechanical and the ride became known as the 'Dirty Dozen'. There were a few brand new riders to recumbents on this group ride. The route was mostly along the Los Gatos (meow) Creek trail with some urban riding in bike lanes. Our turn around point was a farmer's market in the historic area for lunch. The day started out misty but the clouds burned off quickly and we rode in bright sunshine although still a bit chilly. It was hard to complain about such nice riding weather in December.

This channel is about all things trikes and RV travel. I have been riding a recumbent trike since 2005 and have been touring since 2007 all over the world. I have toured on 6 continents, in over 20 countries and cycled more than 70,000 miles. In 2020, I shifted from solo trike touring to solo RV travel. I look for primo places to ride my trike in the USA and explore this beautiful country.

On this channel I have gear reviews, tips and tutorials but, mostly, I produce short travelogue type videos of my tours as I go. I travel with a Sony ZV-1, GoPro, Insta360 One X2, Skydio drone, and an iphone. Thanks for subscribing and following along!

I also have an extensive journal on Blogger that goes into much more detail about the area and the emotional ups and down. The blog has a link to Garmin stats and a map of every day's ride. There are also a ton of pictures. You can find it following this link:
