Grandma's Pork Sorpotel Recipe is very easy to make in a traditional East Indian Way. Sorpotel is a must have side dish for East Indian weddings and celebrations.
Ingredients: (1 cup = 200 ml)
800 Gms Pork Pieces
250 Gms Liver (Goat Liver)
1 Tbsp Salt (as per taste)
1 Cup Water
30 to 40 (60 Gms) Garlic Cloves
2 Inches Ginger Piece (20 gms)
7 to 8 Green Chillies (15 Gms)
Cut the temp ½ finely chopped & ½ Juliens.
1 Large Stem of Curry Leaves
3 Tbsp Oil
2 ½ to 3 Tbsp East Indian Bottle Masala
¼ Cup Vinegar (I used White Synthetic Vinger- Kalverts)
Flavour enhances after 2 to 3 days. Can be kept in the fridge or freezer for longer.
