Coffee with a Curator – Kelly Figley: "Tampa International Airport's Public Art Program"
September 2, 2020

Coffee with a Curator is a focused, theme-oriented presentation on a variety of Dalí-related topics. The talk is presented by one of the Dalí Museum’s Curatorial/Education team or an invited speaker.

Join Kelly Figley, Manager of Tampa International Airport’s Public Art Program, to learn more about the Airport’s diverse collection and newest commissions. More than forty years as a commercial airport has allowed Tampa International Airport to build a diverse art collection that reflects our community. The goal of the Public Art Program is to provide a variety of opportunities for the traveling public to experience and engage in artistic excellence. The Public Art Program enhances the Airport environment while providing cultural awareness and support for the arts. The Airport’s art collection reflects the abundant natural resources and rich cultural heritage of the region and celebrates the legacy of Tampa Bay as the birthplace of commercial aviation.
